Sunday 25th was a wonderful day for Warrington Town. As the looming deadline for the stadium renovations approaches, the Yellows took a big step forward as they were able to successfully transport everything to build the brand new away end at the astroturf end of the pitch.

With around 50 fans giving up their Sundays to ensure that they can do their best to keep the wire in this league, they were able to complete movement in and around an hour, thanks to strong teamwork and determination. Included in this group of hardworking yellows, was manager Mark Beesley as well as owner/chairman Toby Macormac and Warrington Guardian and Yellows co-commentator Matthew Turner who well and truly got stuck in.

The away end will look to be completed by Saturday 23rd March, in time for second place, Scunthorpe United to visit the UNIS Compliance stadium. Construction of the stand and further implications of hard standing around the pitch will continue this week so make sure to keep an eye out on the wonderful progress this great community club are making.
