Well, where do I start with this.

A nearly 2 hour journey down to Kidderminster was met with some hefty expenditures through parking priced at £7.50, the social club costing £2 to enter, food being priced quite highly and £18 per ticket. The game was quite straight forward as the better team won really. Officiating wasn't great with fouls being given really lightly Town looked promising in the first 5ish minutes with Josh Amis having a header well saved by Dibble in the hosts goal but not too much action occurred for Town other than that. Matty McDonald also received 2 yellow cards late in the game, in quick succession, which will see him suspended for Saturday's crucial fixture against Farsley Celtic. Overall, it was quite an expensive Matchday accompanied by poor officiating and even worse stewards. All of this did combine to make quite a fun day with Town fans making a great atmosphere in a solid away following of over a hundred fans. We keep going though and hopefully we pick up some much needed points at the weekend.

Now onto a positive! Town finally saw victory in the Cheshire Senior Cup as they knocked out EFL outfit Stockport County to secure their place in the quarter finals! A game in which Town were expected to win due to County fielding an academy side but it took till the 80th minute when skipper for the day Matty McDonald pounced on a loose ball and fired past the young Stockport keeper. Town could have opened their lead earlier through a brilliant pass by Atherton leading to Rodwell-Grant being brought down by the keeper and a penalty being awarded. His penalty was then saved as JRG was unable to find the back of the net despite several efforts. Nonetheless, Town dominated in large parts of the game and got their reward with a quarter final tie against League 2 side Crewe Alexandre.

Transfer news also came with Edy Maieco joining on dual registration from Macclesfield Town! Hamish Douglas also had his loan extended for another month after an agreement with Rotherham United! Some loans also came to an end with Josh Miles returning to Blackpool and Jak McCourt returning to Ashton United before taking on a player-coach role at Bradford Park Avenue. Nigel Keogh has also left his role at Town as he has taken on a coaching role at Macclesfield. Good news about Craig Noone though as he has been given international clearance and is in line to make his debut on Saturday!
