Jordan Buckley started the season injury ridden, a trait which he carried from last seasons Northern Premier League campaign, before being used as a constant substitue for the yellows.
In his last league aperance for the club, he netted a 90th minute winner against Rushall Olympic after coming on as a late substitue. He was rewarded with his first start in the next game against Blyth Spartans, in the FA trophy.
Buckley was forced off due to injury in the first half, a side way to make what would be his final appearance. A few days later it was confirmed that Buckley had signed for FC United of Manchester, a club buckley had played for previously, for an undisclosed fee.
With an already small squad, supporters were wandering how the club would replace such a player, as funds coming in need to be used on the stadium renovations. A loan option seemed practical and that was the innevitable outcome.

Josh Popoola, image above, has been brought on an intial 28 day loan. The forward can play on either wing as well as up front. A versatile option for the forward line could be what they need to help them with suspension and injuries.
The forward had previousley been on loan at Chorley and Spennymoor ealrier this season before joining the yellows for his third succesive loan spell since arriving at Stockport County from Bournemouth.
Popoola was given his debut in Town's recent defeat to Hereford, where he was substituted at half time for midfeilder Jay Harris. Popoola will look to make his home debut in the yellows' next game against Scarbourough and eyes will be on him to see if he can make a difference.
