So, here we are. It felt like it was inevitable that we would end up at the bottom of the table, with Town being the lowest scoring team in the league (23) and dropping points against relegation rivals Needham, Marine and Farsley. With only 15 games left of the season, Town now find themselves in an incredibly tough situation where points are needed quickly.

Our first stop was Saturday's 2-0 defeat to promotion pushing Scunthorpe, a game in which a valiant effort was put up against The Iron but the quality of the visitors shone through. Goals from Danny Whitehall and Mo Fadera sealed the three points but not without a fight from Warrington, with several penalty shouts, chances for Morris and JRG lashing a 30 yard shot off the post. The game also saw the debut of highly rated Wrexham loanee, Aaron James as well as new PERMANENT signing, Mo Doro, from National League side Oldham Athletic.

We then move onto Tuesday's defeat away at Leamington, which left Town bottom of the league following a 2-0 defeat and Marine winning 3-1 against fellow relegation rivals Rushall Olympic. A goal from Jack Edwards on the verge of halftime, reflected Warrington's season. A strong half without finding the back of the net and being punished for it. A second half goal from Chester loanee Dan Turner finished the job for the hosts and cemented Town's place at the bottom of the league.

A gutted squad, a gutted manager and a gutted fanbase all look towards tomorrow's trip to Spennymoor to try and finally grab some points. At this point now, all we can do as a fanbase is to continue to support and help the squad anyway we can. Togetherness has and always been the strongest part of Warrington Town and even if we go down, let's go down fighting!
