Taken on our trip to Glanford park in Scunthorpe.

So, here we are. Reaching heights that could only have been dreamt of. From having to delegate movement from the 8th tier southern to the 8th tier northern (2007 after the establishment of the conference north and south, 6th tier), we finally made it to the National League North.

This height is the highest we have ever been. Another step up that football pyramid. Not since that day in 2014, when the legendary Craig Robinson scored that header against League 2 outfit, Exeter City to send us to the second proper round of the FA Cup for the first time, have we seen the Yellows have so much support from the town.

It has already been a magical year for us. Sitting 15th in the league, amassing 26 points from our first 19 games, when were posed to finish dead last is incredible. We've shown grit and determination. We've broken records, some not great. We've had many lows but so many highs. We are proud to call ourselves Warrington Town fans.

That is why The Town Reporter is here. The more this team peforms, the more pride we fel as supporters. The thoughts and insights on our club is something wished to be shared with all football fans out there, no matter which colours you wear. As this incredible season goes on The Town Reporter will be there, through whatever is thrown our way.

'Football is a matter of life and death, except more important' quoted from the great Bill Shankly.

So as we take beatings and knocked downs, We will be there. Because The Town Reporter belives in something, We believe 'We're on our way.'

Signing off,

The Town Reporter
